TINTIN C’EST MOI.
NOT REALLY ME, AND NOT KEYEA EITHER. HOWEVER, IT’S AN EASY COMPARISON TO MAKE.
Tintin and Snowy are the adventuresome duo created from the mind of the Belgian cartoonist, Hergé. I took the picture (above) on one of my solo trips to Europe and learned a lot about why Tintin has such international appeal.
Tintin is a diverse character with a broad set of skills and talents. With his strong moral compass, bravery, sharp intellect, and an eye for detail, Tintin sets out on various adventures to right the world’s wrongs. He’s a Boy Scout at heart who sticks up for the underdog by utilizing quick thinking and effective diplomacy. He’s definitely not without fault though, as he’ll occasionally get a bit tipsy or let anger get the better of him. In this way, Tintin is relatable in his modesty, sense of humor, honesty, loyalty, and compassion.
